Text Box: St. Louis, MO.  .  .  .  Acid turn this adsorbent compound yellow and as the liquid is neutralized it turns to an orange and then to purple, indicating a safe, neutral PH has been obtained.

Spilled acid requires immediate action. In most instances facilities are ill-prepared to solve the problem and a small spill becomes a major incident. A recent minor incident at a small package freight carrier resulted in a haz-mat response from the local fire department, helicopter TV national news coverage, and a half day shutdown of a 200,000 square foot warehouse facility. A package had dropped off a dock conveyor and a 1 pint container of acid was leaking.

Proper PPE and one carton of Acid Safe and this minor spill could have been neutralized and the broken package handled properly for disposal in less than 10 min.  Be prepared with AcidSafe Neutralizing Sorbent .
